I've been mastering my older albums mainly for practice. This is a mastered version of my 2016 album, Get Some. Although the album is definitely corny in some ways, I am still proud of it. I feel that it flows well and is one of my stronger albums as far as a complete record listened through from beginning to end. It's an extremely dark album for me personally. A lot of personal pain went into these songs but there's also hope and self-love.. It has my corny humor against some very dark emotional stuff. I love the vocal layering on these and I'm proud of the sound overall Don't let the first song throw you off. I love it as an intro track if you plan to listen from start to finish, but it's not indicative of the rest of the album. It is also made entirely from various toy instruments which is kind of obvious to the ear, and it has this off-tune dissonance that somehow works for me. This is an experimental album for me personally because I played around.with a lot of new things and pushed myself to have fun with it. The songs are super dark but I had a lot of fun writing and recording it. I think it has both a dark and joyous feel to it. If I have a seductive and chill sounding album, this one might be it.
